Bio:
Family man and recently Promoted to Lieutenant. I am also the "Medic" on our department's Extrication team with TERC.
I have served in the Air National Guard for 6 years as a firefighter and before that, I served 4 years active duty in the US Coast Guard as a Damage Controlman 2nd Class. I was stationed on the CGC Polar Sea, then to Station Yaquina Bay, OR.
While there, I volunteered with Newport Fire & Rescue before moving to Portland where I went to school and interned with Estacada RFPD…
Congratulations on your baby! Fatherhood is an incredible thing. I have 4 myself. Continue to be strong for those around you and you're right, people move on and times change. The fortitude you put forth in pursuing a goal of service will pay dividends. We are not always there to see the results of such labor, but it has its affect nonetheless.
