Bryan Altman is Training Officer for the Tifton (GA) Fire Department. He is an 15 year veteran of the fire service. He began his career with the Tifton-Tift Co. (GA) Fire Department in 2004 and was there for 3 years and then went to Ashburn Fire and Emergency Services (GA) and was there for 4 years serving as Lieutenant. He spent 2011 as a full time instructor and Captain with the Georgia Fire Academy teaching the Basic Firefighter Program and assisted with live fire classes, he is still an adjunct instructor for GFA. He had the honor of teaching at the Metro Atlanta Firefighters Conference in 2012 and 2019, he also had a article published in the 2012 October issue of FireEngineering magazine and on the Fire Training Toolbox Website. He is certified as a Firefighter 2, Acting Officer, Live Fire Instructor, Basic Firefighter Instructor, Fire Instructor 2, has a Diploma in Fire Science Technology, and is Georgia F.L.A.M.E.S. COD #159 and SPARTAN #21.
