Good afternoon, I am looking for a checklist for on scene safety officers. We recently certified firefighters to backfill into the Safety Officer role when I am not available or when I determine additional SO's are needed. These are FF's with no or limited Line Officer experience. This is making it necessary to spell out the roles and responsibilities. What they should be looking for, doing, preparing etc.
Any suggestions or opinions will be appreciated. If you use a "form" or "checklist" please forward of possible so I can potentially utilize as a template.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks Mike, that is what I am looking for. Something that I can take as a guideline and out it into what we need it to do here.
