Fire Engineering Training Community

Where firefighters come to talk training

I am continuing research and education on the use of the new antidote, Hydroxocobalamin, for acute cyanide poisoning from smoke inhalation.
Specifically I am trying to get actual numbers on states that presently have pre-hospital protocols for its use. I am also trying to get actual numbers on fire departments that now carry the Cyanokit on their rigs.
If any one has numbers on this info, or your department now stocks this drug on your rigs could you please leave info here in the forum or contact me by email (downtwne-3pfd@cox.net). Your input would greatly assist me in my research. Thank You Kevin Jutras
