The United States Fire Administration (USFA) has received notice of the following firefighter fatality in MO.

It is with deep regret that I post the following USFA official line of duty death announcement of fellow brother Firefighter Donald Scaper. Our sincerest condolences go out to the family and the members of the Timber Knob VFD.

Incident Description: Firefighter Schaper responded to an Emergency request for aid for an unknown type of incident. Arriving at the scene in his personal vehicle, Schaper suffered an unknown medical emergency. Life saving efforts were provided by other responders on scene, and Firefighter Schaper was transported to Baxter Regional Hospital in Mountain Home Arkansas where he died.
