Where firefighters come to talk training

Our sincere condolences and prayers go to the family of John Moore and the members of the Columbus FD.

Thanks to FFCC for the information below:

Tuesday, March 30, 2010 - Firefighter John Moore, a 34-year veteran, passed away in the Line of Duty while on duty at the Columbus Division of Fire training complex on Monday. Firefighter Moore was discovered by a co-worker on Monday afternoon. FF Moore had been selected to receive the highly coveted Columbus Fire Box 15 Haverman Award next month.
FF Moore was widely respected as one of the finest fire-medics anywhere and was assigned to the training academy where he loved to share his knowledge. As one Columbus Fire Officer wrote us last night "Indeed, John was a very loved individual and known as the "nicest guy" in CFD". Such a sad loss.
As always, our sincere condolences to all affected.

I will post the USFA notification as soon as it is available.

Stay safe everyone!
