Where firefighters come to talk training

The National Fire Department Honor Guard Competition will be held again this year during the FDIC Conference on April 20th in Indianapolis, IN. This event showcases the very finest display of discipline and precision of Fire and EMS Honor Guard units as well as honors the traditions of the US Fire Service. Teams from around the country will compete in a variety of events which reflect duties they may be called upon to perform during a Firefighter funeral or other fire service event. This year the competition features a newly designed course, scoring system and will be judged by the instructors of the National Honor Guard Academy. There are still a few slots open for competing teams. To register or for more information go to www.nationalhonorguardacademy.com
