Where firefighters come to talk training

I would like to know if anyone has any design plans that they would be willing to share for a low cost roof simulation prop.

Thanks,
Dave

There are pictures, and maybe plans, from a previous thread. you should be able to get the thread from a search.

Good luck,
Larry
Define low cost?
Under $1000.00 would be great.
Dave,
not quite sure what your looking for but heres an idea. I am a local contractor as well as a 6 year career fire fighter. Many times when i build homes, i either fireld frame some rafters or have extra ones or wrongs get made and sent out. I am curently helping my lt. teach an essentials calss and we are going to use some of those "extra" rafters that are smaller to build a roof simulation prop. we are going to place it on a flat bed trailer and then finish it like a real roof would be finished. So my point is, check with some local contractors to see if they too have some "extra" roof trusses they dont need. More than likely, they will be happy to get rid of them, instead if them having to do the work to dispose of them. Let me know how this works.

I don't how to search the archives of this site but I posed the same question about a year ago. If you can find it there were many useful ideas.

I will continue to look for it in the mean time. Be Safe
