We had to replace most of our LDH appliances when we upgraded our 5" stroz hose. This was due to the locks on the new hose did not fit tightl on the old non locking appliances<br />

Most of the newer construction in our area is supplied with 5 inch. The problem I ran across was and fdc connection that doesn't connect to newer hose lines mostly 07-08 hose.
