- I began my fire service career with the Williamson County Rescue Squad in Franklin, Tennesse in 2002. A medium size volunteer department providing fire and rescue services to a large county. After attending four semesters of college I decided that the fire service was the career that I desired.
Shortly after returning to my hometown of Franklin, I received my first paid firefighter job with the Smyrna Fire Department in Smyrna, Tennessee. I worked with SFD for about a year and a half gaining experience and education. It was after this period of time that I obtained the job I'd been waiting for since I began in the service. I recieve a postion from the Franklin Fire Department.
Three years later I haven't looked back and love the department that I work for. I have worked in a couple districts in that time, mostly on Rescue Companies which is my niche. I am very rescue/self-rescue oriented and consider my-self to be very motivated and progressive in my career. I enjoy teaching very much and look for evrery opportunity to attend training myself and improve my knowledge. My passion and focus in my fire service career has been and continues to be Fire & Explosion Investigation. I have been working in this area for about 3 years. I am currently the B-Shift Fire Investigator for Franklin Fire.
I have continued to remain active with my home department (the Williamson County Rescue Squad) for the last 6 years and currently hold the rank of Lieutenant/Fire Investigator and work extensively in Fire Prevention in addition to my Suppression duties.
