Currently he serves as the vice-chairman of the New York City High-Rise Fire Safety Directors Association (FSDA), a member of the NFPA High-Rise Building Safety Advisory & Pre-Incident Planning Committees. Jack is also a Contributing Editor with Fire Engineering & a member of the FDIC Executive Advisory Board and appointed FDNY Hon. Bn. Chief in 1997.

He has served as a Fire Safety Director for a major high-rise hospital complex in New York City. A Corporate VP for Citigroup Global Fire & Emergency Preparedness that provided technical expertise in fire protection & crisis management for more than 300,000 employees in over 105 countries. He has a professional affiliation with FSDA, NFPA, IAFC, ICC, etc. as well as various local & state fire orgs.

He was the FSDA Task Force Leader for the development of Emergency Action Plans [EAP] for high-rise buildings & a member of the NYC Building Dept. Task Force for the development of the Photo-Luminous Egress Path Marking Systems. Also he has served as a member of the New York City Model Buildings Program & Fire Code Technical Committees. He was the Charter president of the Bergen County (NJ) Fire Chiefs Association & past president of the County Fire Prevention Association as well as the Bergen County Fire Academy Board of Directors. He is the author of RICS-Rapid Incident Command.

Hi Chief, how are ya? My father just had a seminar with you at Exxon in Clinton on College Dormitory Fire Safety. He asked me If I knew you, I told him I knew of you but had not met you personally. He told me that the seminar was very informative and found it interesting. Take it easy.
