Bio:
Scott G. Nacheman is a Senior Associate in the Chicago, IL office of the investigations division of the engineering firm Thornton Tomasetti. He serves as a Structures Specialist with US&R IL-TF1 as well as DHS/FEMA IN-TF1 and is a US&R IST Alternate. He is a Field Instructor for the Illinois Fire Service Institute and an on-call responder for the Northbrook (IL) Fire Department Technical Rescue Team. He is a member of several NFPA, SFPE and other national and state level technical committees. He has over 15 years experience in the fire service, having served as a firefighter,
officer and instructor. He received Masters degrees in Architecture and Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
