- Michael Demastus, born and raised in Franklin,TN. My father was a Firefighter in Columbia,TN back in the early 60's, my brother is currently with Franklin Fire Dept., and he was responsible for getting me interested inthe fire service. He was on the county's volunteer fire dept and after watching him for about 2 years, I caught the bug. I currently am a member of the Williamson County Rescue Squad and a career firefighter for the City of Spring Hill. I also have a girlfriend who is employed with the City of Franklin Fire Dept. and a lovely little girl who is 2 and was born (of course) on Sept. 11th
