It's nice having a probie isn't it... YCFD is going good. Looks like we may be getting an 8 screen theater to train on for a few days. Only bad part is when we get it, it will be last minute and only for a few days.. Oh well Train when ever you can right. Slower than heck on the fires though. I can't buy a job. My engine has been on close to 20+ working fires this year, and I have only been on duty for 1!!!!!!! Sucks to be me huh???

Be safe and have fun Bro. I love ya!!!

Brother, everything is set. We decorate the engine today, the bell is in place, the color guard equipment is shined. We're lookin' good. Chief would be proud. I just wanted to take a minute to let you know that I keep you close. You're positive attitude and enthusiastic greeting always warms my meloncholy heart. I need people like you from time to time, and I'll keep you close in my heart tommorrow.

As far as truckie vs. nozzlejockie, ...I'm not gonna lie to ya, ..I swing both ways. After all, its Alaska.

Look, I know those with bugles are supposed to stay off the nozzle, but in Fairbanks, at -15 degrees, (a balmy evening), air packs go bad quick and the guy wearin' the functionin SCBA is the one on the tip!! ......I'm just sayin.
