Eddie Buchanan began his career in 1982 and currently serves as a Division Chief for Hanover (VA) Fire & EMS. He is author of the Volunteer Training Officer's Handbook and co-author of the Red, White & Blue Ribbon Reports from the IAFC/VCOS. He serves on the Technical Committee on Fire Service Training for the NFPA and is the President-Elect for the International Society of Fire Service Instructors.

The ISFSI is back!

Hey gang! I thought I'd offer a little update on the ISFSI. I was sworn in as president at FDIC a few weeks ago and WOW, what whirlwind it's been! We have a lot going on at the Society and could sure use everyone's help. I'm very lucky as President that I have such a talented Board of Directors! Eddie thanks for including me in the team. I will have to check out your band as you know we could use some new DVD music. Take a look and sign up to our group we could use your input. Tactical Building Blocks & Air Management. If you search groups by most members we are list at the top.
This group will focus on aggressive interior firefighting. We will address tactics that increase your chance of not getting jammed up and cover what actions to undertake if you do.We will cover some big issues as well as small tactical tips.
