What is the article and where can I get a copy?

Thanks for the quick reply (lol). The reason I asked you about the article is because I would like to review it and I also wanted to get an idea of the specific used. The FD I work for is a proponent of using this fancy new age tactic called "Transitional" and it basically is squirting water in from the outside with a quick straight stream burst and then proceed interior. Imagine that! However, the tactic is not used by most of the senior Officers and there are many stories of issues interior when this used. My FD put together a long presentation about this to prove their point. The bottom line is that guys inside have been steam burned in adjacent areas and if this happens to the guys think about what would happen to a civilian! Hence the reason I am not a proponent of this.

Mr. Webb, What article are you refering to with penciling the ceiling? I may have some valuable info for you. However, the reason I am not responding to the thread you started is because of controversy around this and in some applications I do not agree with this.
