On the afternoon of 07/11/2011 during a heavy lightning storm, South Metro & Littleton Firefighters were dispatched to multiple reports of a house fire on Lebrun Court. While enroute, a large column of black smoke was over the area.
Upon arrival crews found the charlie side well involved and being fueled by a natural gas line. A brief interior search and attack took place, then defensive operations began. Two attack lines and one aerial master stream were used to control the fire which did not damage either exposure buildings.
Helmet cam footage from arrival to knock down taken by me, from the perspective of Incident Dispatcher / Battalion Aide.
