Comment by Bobby Halton on December 28, 2010 at 9:54am: I think the fire in Bridal shop had extended into the common cockloft and had a free run of the entire complex. I my experience the entire space is wide open and the fire is pushed by pressure and wind via the venting ports. Tough fire at that point.

Comment by Shan Raffel on December 27, 2010 at 6:40pm: I wonder what the outcome would have been if ventilation was delayed until hand lines we charged and ready to deploy? Prior to the ventilation there there we no indicators of high heat conditions at the front of the shops. The paper advertising posters on the inside the front windows of the Radio Shack store show no sign of being affected by heat.
