Hello, Eddie, I'm I'm from the South of Italy, the city of Salerno.

I have discovered yesterday the fire engineering community.
On my web site (www.115extreme.it) there are many information on Italian Firefighters, sorry but at this moment it is only in Italian :)

I research, Firefighters friends around the world that they want  exchange info, photo, video, gadgets and more on the fantastic Firefighters World :)

Hello, I just read a response by you in one of the discussions. You talked about your mentoring program. We have one as well. I would be very interested in seeing more of your program so I could compare and maybe improve ours. Would you be willing to share anything? Thanks!!

Thanks for dropping a line about the class. We really appreciate the kind words. We had a lot of fun and met a lot of great firefighters from all over.

Thanks a lot to all of you guys for your donation to my nephew. It is greatly appreciated!

We'll be in touch!

Stay safe

Althouhg carrying your own tools might be the answer--a better system is where everyone is properly trained on the departments tools--including proper maintenance, putting them back where they belong and understanding their proper use. Imagine the inventory nightmare if each firefighter carried his or her own tools--We all need to understand that our business is about supporting one another, working as a team and getting the job done that provides the best level of service our communities have decided they want. I agree that some of the smaller pocket tools could be firefighter owned--but the FE Tools we need should be department issue and everyone must be responsible for their use.
