Indy is good, but not the same without you and Ryann. I spoke to her through email last week. I need to get her to sign on to here! She had told me about the new addition to your family. I am very happy to hear that. I am running back out the convention center and will talk to you soon.

thats a good idea I'll email him and see if i can get him to sign up...we need to get everyone on here from fdic!! its a good and easy way to stay in touch with everyone :)
oh i start off as a firefighter, they make us get CFR-D certified but thats it, no ambulance work for me. FDNY has separate EMS and Fire. And the academy is 6 months, it recently got extended and I hear its too long now, but I'll just have to make it through. I cant wait!!
too bad you cant be there but thats a good reason for missing out, good luck with it all. well if all goes well I'm gonna be going into fdny's academy in january 09, so if it happens you wont be seeing me in Indy next year since I wont be able to take the time off, but I plan to be back the year after. Diane already told me she will let me have one year off but thats it, I have to come back :) which of course I'm happy about.
Chris,
Thanks for joining the volunteer group and joining in the discussion. Look forward to hearing more from you. I think this site is a great way for firefighters to find out how everyone is dealing with the same problems, and in the long run, we can probably save a few of our own with what we learn here.
Hey I don't know how many of you out there know this but this is the web site of the man responsible for FireEngineernig.com and one of my best friends and a great firefighter Lt. Chris McLoone
Thanks Brother
