Spring has definitely NOT sprung here in Maine, but it will... Maybe. The BHSC case is sitting on Kentucky Governor Steven Beshear's desk; supposedly we will hear this week what the commonwealth will do about the case... Stay tuned!

At 7:30am on December 29, 2008, Brent Sanger said…: The traditional color for a fire truck is red, but trucks can be painted almost any color. I have seen yellow, green (various shades), black and purple. It is dependent on what the standard says and what the local department wants as to what the color is. The flourescent green/yellow is supposed to be the most visible color for apparatus, and is mandated as the color for all airport fire trucks. But, like I said, it's dependent on the choice of the department. Lynchburg, TN (home of Jack Daniels) has all their trucks painted black with gold trim and they look real good.
