Congratulations Brother! Drinks are on me! I guess you'll have to get used to facing forward and actually having to know where you are going instead of being a back seat driverLMAO!
I am so sorry brother! I haven't called you back and I'm not ignoring you just lot's been going on around here. I promise to get ahold of you here soon and I'll shoot for tonight.
A good word is Prayer! Prayer for your wife to get well, for our colleague in the accident, for our brothers and sisters giving their all and those gone on before us and to our troops giving us the right to be FREE!
I got a humbling experience tonight. I knew a group of about 200 soldiers out of about 4000 we sent from here were coming home tonight and some are aleready home and the rest are soon to be on their way. So I stopped in and saw them get off the bus and their families patientlly and excitedly waiting a few hundred feet away...the closest some have been to each other in a year! It made me proud to see them come home and to know they left their families and thier lives and went to a foreign place all for US, just like Jesus! It was very moving emotionally for me. I realized that's often what it's like for our families when we go...not knowing when we are coming back hoping our families and friends support us and are waiting for us to return while praying when we meet it is here on earth and not in Heaven. I can't imagine what it's like to learn that someones family will never see their loved one again.
God give them the strength and us the courage to carry on what is left to do!
Hey Brother what's a good word? Bad week for the brotherhood loosing five brothers. I hate posting that stuff but if I don't people won't know and where is the brotherhood in that? Hope all is well with you and Marnie. Be there in like three weeks and counting and if you can't make it to the OBX maybe you guys can come up to Emmitsburg for the NFFF weekend.
Thanks for the email on the brotherhood article. I think it was a really good read for us all. I got tickets for the East, come in to DC on Sept 18 and lv on Mon Oct 5th in the AM. I am hoping to make it to Emmitsburg again for the NFFF. Hows things down in the backwoods? My girl...LOL sure is looking sweet now that I added some more bling bling to her. I'll send you a few pix when I can.
Well what momma don't know won't kill her! Remembering our roots is a good thing in life. Be it our job or our family because some things are sacred just like baseball and apple pie and OLE Glory our FLAG!
Your boss posted a message on my page and said she didn't marry no redneck!!! So I was wondering if maybe you have a split personality, which is normal for our lifestyle and maybe you have been getting too much sun and heat and not covering your head on really hot days? You know this will keep you from thinking clearly and you could write some checks your body can't cash at the "Bank of Marnie"! LMAO
I got my bike and man is she SWEET! A got the Dyna Super Glide (FXDI) and I put 170 miles on her over the weekend. Now to name her is the task at hand. She loves to be ridden, doesn't complain and growls like a Tiger...LOL
I'm thinking the smoky Mtns are in Alaska instead of Tenn! Bye golly...I can't even see across the flight line to the main house from our ours! Well it's like God's version of a mosquito fogger, I guess...LOL Makes me mad that it doesn't smell like oh de burning house. You know those claustophobic structural firefighters are just living it up on fresh food boxes and camping in the woods while us pavement princesses are here in the air conditioning...LMAO!!!
Stay safe and ruff those cup cakes and twinkies up a little so they'll know what it's like to be in the "Family Buisness"! Watch out for the Krispy creme princesses...you know donut wranglers..the Po Po...Police!
Will do on the arrival in NC...you have an email on the way. I grabbed a card so I'll put the number in there for you. He is in Myrtle beach this week.
