Ya I've been a member here for awhile. I just havent logged in.
I agree lots of info in here. Did you ever get that FF Survival/RIT Instructor course from the OFM under your belt? Teaching another course to a couple of local depts in the next couple of weeks. If you are looking for a sign off opportunity might be able to arrange something?
Thanks Jeff. I do believe that it will be published. As an author for FE I send them several pieces at a time and they pick which ones to use.
I'm glad you enjoyed it and that you found it useful.
Jeff, Send me your email address and I'll be more than gald to send you the ppts you would like. A couple I am hainv trouble sending as they are too big so I guess I'll have to split them in half or something. Let me know if you want anyting besides the Forc. Entry ppts
Thanks so much for your resposne. You comments should be screamed from the highest buildings in the world. Fire loads are worse, as is the heat release from these fire loads yet we are being taught the same old fire flow crap as was taught 40 years ago. Your right on!
-Hi Jeff. Yeah sure go ahead and use the quote, "If you want to stand around and admire your work than become a painter". This was directed at FF that cut roofs and then stand there admiring the h*** they just cut.
-Firefighters that perform vertical venting must cut the roof and get down. The longer ff are on the roof, the longer they are in danger. Get down and get another job. Remember the manpower shortage? Get down and get another assignment.
Hi J.
I was on Kentville for 1 1/2 years when I first joined the fire service in '88 then bought a house in New Minas and switched. If Gary is your dad I work with him at the chip plant.

Hey Bro,
I will be at the Oakville again this year, should be a blast again this year. I have a tone of new props and the course has come along way in a short amount of time.
My company has also merged with a company from the states called Brotherhood Instructors LLC. Check out our web page at www.brotherhoodinstuctors.com, we have an online drill section with free online training.
Good to here from you bro, drop me an email so that I have your contact info. forcethedoor@hotmail.com
