Where firefighters come to talk training

The Sunday Preach:

Tragedy Can Strike Anywhere, Anytime...

Today... like many days on our fire service calendar, we once again pause and take note of those who have made the supreme sacrifice. With the anniversary of multiple line of duty deaths this past week in New York... Sadly, we are hearing tragic news about the deaths of 2 members, in the city of Toledo Ohio.

While the names have yet to be made public, pending notifications....

~Please, send prayers and thoughts to those who gave all in the name of service...

~Please, give comfort to the families of the fallen, the members of the respective companies, and the department as a whole...

~Please, remember that as a collective fire service, those of us who do this type of work day in day out 24/7/365.... we who realize and full well know the magnitude of the loss, be respectful to those who lives are forever changed.

~Please, let us as a fire service not jump to conclusions, point fingers at who did and didn't do... as a firefighter or fire officer, you should know better... tragedy can strike anywhere, anytime.

May God Bless the fallen, the families and the brothers and sisters in the firehouse and of the department, to carry thier memories on...
