Warming the sense and body, but stay with the brain cool!!!... some say that this come with the years, but I think to do with the experience.

Here's a video link that shows how it should be done. Kudos to my dear friend Battalion Chief Anthony (Andoni) Kastros for one helluva job managing this fire and staying calm, cool, and collected during a very stressful incident.

Right on with this one. When I was a fledgling firefighter my Battalion Chief would always turn his back on the incident after initial arrival, take a deep breath, look to the heavens and say, "OK boys, lets do this". He was great under pressure and that little breather for him made for a great operation - starting out with the illustration on the Left and ending up with the illustration on the Right. Thanks
