As the departments Training Officer and father of a 9 year old girl I spend allot of hours in and around the firehouse with my daughter. She clearly knows there is the US Language and the Firehouse Language! She gets a good kick out of actually explaining that to others when they "slip" and use a firehouse word in front of her.
