Seat and Tool Assignments/Fire Ground Efficiency

I have been looking at ways to increase fire ground efficiency. I want to get some info on the different ways fire companies deploy resources on a structure fire.

Am I too emotionally weak for this profession?

I'm no veteran to this life as a firefighter, but I'm no rookie either. I've seen messed up things in life doing this job just as much as the next firefighter, but sometimes this job really gets to me. I don't know what's down this road anymore. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way, but sometimes it seems like it. I try to stay strong and show it doesn't bother me, but I think it's really getting to me now. Clarence Center Crash & Black Sunday News and NIOSH

Just a few short weeks after celebrating the miracle on the Hudson, America today is mourning the loss of 50 citizens who boarded a plane last night from New Jersey reroute to Buffalo New York. Reported to be on that plane was a woman who was going to celebrate the birthday anniversary of her husband which she lost on 9/11. The Precious Faith fire, ten years later.

As I sit to write this post, I am overwhelmed with many emotions. For the past ten years, I have found myself torn between celebrating the love of valentine's day and the memory of my three lost brothers. Ladder co. 72/Commercial Fire

On Jan 20th, Snohomish County F.D. #7 was toned out for a Commercial Fire Response at the Waste Management depot site in 72's first due area.

Ladder co. 72, led by Lt. Prince, was first to arrive and reported heavy smoke coming from a mechanic truck bay with a vehicle inside on fire. The vehicle was a Waste Management Garbage Truck.
