Tom, To add to Chris's reply below, make sure that it is boiled linseed oil for use on wood handles. If you use regular linseed oil, it will not dry properly and always be sticky.

Didnt want to post this in open fourm. I have the video that was done after the death of 2 of our firefighter in 1996. It was an Advanced Auto Parts store. The video has scene footage, the radio transmissions and documentry of the funeral services. We show it day 1 of every recruit academy.
