- If you get a chance to get to Balad AB, please look up my son, Alexander Stuart Austin. He is also a military firefighter and a little down about the non-structural fire activity at the airbase. I think he needs to know that the Fire Service is one big Brotherhood, no matter if your a military, federal, industrial, wildland, volunteer or career firefighter.
I have no doubt that I've left out some specialty firefighting skill set and I'll catch holy !@*$ for it.
