Solar roof top systems are they safe and what if you have a fire? I have a few 150,000 sq. ft. building. I own 2 building and I want a firefighter opinon wheather I should install a Solar system on the roof. If I have a fire what is the typical stand a fire unit take with solar on a roof.

Solar Panel Rooftop Fires

Hello All,

I am very aware of the issue of not being able to turn of a solar panel. What's the answer to this issue? I have two buildings that I want to put solar on the roof. What about firesafety after a earth quake or during a fire what do you do with the solar?
