- Keith Addie is a 18 year veteran of the fire service. He started as a volunteer firefighter with the Avenel Fire Department and served 6 years as a line officer before becoming Chief of Department in 2003. Also, he was one of the department's training officer for several years.
He worked as a Fire Inspector with the Township of Hillsborough for 4 years before landing a career firefighter job with the Township of Maplewood. In addition, he's a state certified fire instructor and teaches at the Middlesex County Fire Academy in Sayreville.
