Hi Dan, Wow that's a lot of stuff in a very short paragraph, sadly what I've learned is there is no quick fix to your problem. If the guys are coming home feeling like they could have done better, then instead of defending your method, look at wh...

Hey,
Things are going pretty good right now, we've been keeping busy and that always helps the guys out. I've started doing your debriefing after every run and it seems like its starting to help out faster than I expected. Last week we had a rough pry job, I mean a real mind teaser and when we got back there wasn't a negative thing about the run anyone could think of. Very exciting! After that I used the opportunity for a little motivational speech and I swear we could've won the super bowl after it. It really means a great deal to me to know there are still people out there willing to take time out of their day to help others. Thank you very much and I hope to keep in touch

Greetings,

Please allow me to invite you to a site designed by responders for responders... the crew that is doing it is CISM multilevel trained and are there for the guys after the bad calls. It helps the responders that do not yet have a team or would be worried that they asking for help would be seen as weakness. Please join and share it when you can. As a chaplain with over 25 years of service to fire departments I am excited with it's potential to provide support.

Hey Judy. Welcome to the community. We are trying something a little different here: To ensure we have the best communication possible, we are requiring that you use your full name. By eliminating anonymous posts we hope to elevate the discussion and maintain a sense of open and honest sharing. The intent is not to exclude anyone but to protect everyone from unwanted and inappropriate postings.
