Bio:
I've volunteered at Chena Goldstream Fire and Rescue 1999-2007, worked at University Fire Department 2001-2003, and have been employed at Fairbanks Fire Department for the past 5 years. I'm newly promoted to driver/engineer, and the training and experience I gained at UFD has helped me transition into this new role at FFD. I'm the first and only female on staff, and I'm proud to be a part of an organization that makes so many great saves, both medically and on the fireground.

We all fared pretty well considering the -40 temps. Just gotta keep moving. The students stepped up once again and were amazing. Looking back after it was all done, amazing we actually made a stop. Thank you for coming and helping. Always feels good knowing you guys always have our back!
