At 17 I joined the M.P. Rice Hose Company of the Branford Fire Department. I was fortunate to become a F/T FF with the BFD in July 1984. I have been in my current position, Adm. Capt. since July 2006. Update, as of Dec. 2008, back on the line as Shift Captain.
