At 17 I joined the M.P. Rice Hose Company of the Branford Fire Department. I was fortunate to become a F/T FF with the BFD in July 1984. After 5.5 years and great thought, I made the choice to join the West Shore Fire District in West Haven, CT. With WSFD I made Lt. in 1994 and Captain (Shift Commander) in Jan. 2004. I have been in my current position, Adm. Capt. since July 2006. Update, as of Dec. 2008, back on the line as Shift Captain, had enough of the Admin. Stuff for a while...
