I was raised with the fire service watching my grandfather and uncle and then becoming a Jr. Firefighter with the West Stockbridge Fire Department in 2001 (pre 9-11). I then joined Gouverneur Rescue Squad in 2005 and Richville Fire 2006. I love the fire service so much that I went and got my associates degree in it. I have just become an officer in Richville and am hopeful I can be a good one I am out of my comfort zone but trying and only time will tell.
