Dewey Schmidt is a 24 year veteran with the Oklahoma City Fire Department. Currently in the position of Battalion Chief in Battalion 603-C. He has promoted through the ranks in the Suppression Division and has served as the Human Resources Officer. He holds an AA in Municipal Fire Protection, BA in Organizational Leadership, and is a current student in the Executive Fire Officer Program at the National Fire Academy. He has instructed at Oklahoma State University - OKC Campus.
