Bio:
Began my career in Public Service in 1988 when I went to "Ambulance" school. Spent 20 years in the Paramedicine field, climbing through all the hoops to obtain my ACP certs and eventually became a field preceptor/evaluator for up and coming Paramedics. Became a Volunteer Firefighter in my new "small rural home" in 1996 and knew that was my calling. In January 2001, I was hired by the Niagara Falls Fire Department and haven't looked back since. I was always looking for ways to improve what we had for training materials...NOT change, just make it better. It started me on the path to the Training Division where I plan to remain for the long term. On time off, I love to be part of the instruction teams for the Ontario Fire College in both the HazMat and Emergency Patient Care programs. My plan for the Training Division is staying current with the latest information, tactics, and equipment to provide a safe, educated and equipped environment for top training personnel.
