So as you know from my last posting that I have taken a break from firefighting. Well after I have my surgery on December 1st and recover from rehab and such I have decided to return to the department. At the age of 21 I have seen a lot of things people twice my age will never imagine of seeing, but even with that, my heart is in being a firefighter. So it's been a really long time since I've given any form of an update, so I figured I would now. Well, I'm not longer firefighting for the time being. I went back to my job I had before I did firefighting which is a political journalist for a local newspaper. I'm also back in school. I'm going to Reedley College and Fresno Pacific University. Hey everyone. Sorry I've been so anti-social for a long time. As most of you know from reading some of my other blogs I was having some problems in life. Well I took some time off and worked through everything in my life, and I'm glad to say that I feel great about where I am now. Everyone has a breakdown eventually, I guess it was time for mine. I'm no veteran to this life as a firefighter, but I'm no rookie either. I've seen messed up things in life doing this job just as much as the next firefighter, but sometimes this job really gets to me. I don't know what's down this road anymore.
