Looking for personal experiences/stories of how Tom Brennan inspired, lead, or taught you about firefighting. From Random Thoughts, to war stories of the hey day in Brooklyn's Nut House, to growing up in his household.

So for the delayed response...I was on a fishing trip. As of right now, in TO we carry PAL Packs with 38mm hose. We don't have a pre-packed 65 hoseline. I consider this a shortcoming that should be rectified ASAP. Just another uphill battle...add it to the list.

A 21/2 inch hose pack and solid bore nozzle would be a big step in the right direction, especially for commercial high rise fires. We should haveall the options and not be guilty of "grab and go" firefighting, where we always grab the smaller, more convenient hose and hope that it does the job.
