There is a small inexpensive tool that we have called a hood tool. It's basically a T-handle with a slot in the end that you slide over the hood release cable and twist until the latch pops. Works very well, no matter how damaged the front end is.
We spend a lot of time at the firehouse. We train there, we sleep there, and we eat there. Because of that, there are many incredible firehouse cooks out there. Share your recipes with us. This is also a place to discuss nutrition in the firehouse.
