Read your profile. Sorry about the injury. What I did notice was that you were from Osceola County. They saved my middle daughter in 10-3-08 and had her flow to Orlando to Arnold Palmer. Maybe if they treated you all like they did her things would be different. I have been banged up a few times in my public service life and am out now line of duty. I can say I have never been neglected. But have seen many of my friends and family left in pain and unable to function as they once did. I hope that you can change the system once you get your degree. Stay safe and fight the good fight all ways!!!

Hi Berni,
I invite you to check out "Honor their Sacrifices" group. It is the little things like injuries and prevention that need to be trained on before things go to far. We must make sure everyone goes home. Dan

Hello Berni, Thank you for your interest in Firefighter health and wellness. I am also very passionate about this, it's our primary cause of LODD. I have significantly improved my overall wellness through a nutritional wellness and detoxifying program. Thanks for all you do.

Hey Berni. Welcome to the community. One thing we require of all members is the use of full first and last names. Please fix your profile to reflect this as soon as possible. Thanks.

Osceola County

Top issues in your department:
The lack of ability to handle serious injuries. Too many firefighters and first responders are neglected after suffering an injury.
