Andy, I prefer to use tape on hoses 1.5" also because I work with up to 12 bar pressure and 120 gpm or more. When can I use quick attacks monitors with one line 2,5" , ok , but there are situations where it is not possible. This happened in the fire-fighting tanks in the city of Santos - Brazil in early April, which lasted 9 days. There were gasoline and ethanol throughout around tanks.

I'm not sure I understand your second statement, Daniel. I've used webbing before or a hose strap to help maintain a 2 1/2" line. Is that what you're referring to? Thank you.

Kneel, the work can be dangerous when the floor is contaminated with oils and flammable liquids. I prefer using tapes to support the fire hose on the shoulder.
