Bio:
I began my working career as a teacher and then became a non-profit fundraiser and event planner. I finally lucked out and got the best job in the world which I have been doing for over 10 years. I started as a firefighter/EMT and soon finished my paramedic schooling. Now I am a Captain with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue where I work in a dual role that assists the Training Division and the Rescue Office. I teach many classes for the fire service, but my focus is on mentoring, leadership, and Officer Development classes. I have a wife, Tammie, and 4 teenagers: Cortney, Trey, Alyssa, and Kaitlyn. I spend as much time with them as possible because I know the moments are fleeting. I began the chaplain program for PBCFR in March of 2008, and I am an instructor for the Federation of Fire Chaplains. I want to help other departments either begin a successful chaplain program or grow their current program to reach its full potential.
