Comment by Matt Maihle on February 3, 2011 at 6:48pm Chief, I think your "Pride and Ownership, a firefighters love of the job" presentation should be reviewed by every firefighter in America annually until we bring the Brotherhood and Tradition in the fire service back to where it should be.
I love our heritage. I love the brass poles, dalmations, shined up boots, riding backwards, washing trucks, sitting around the dinner table talking fire, playing pranks and joking with the guys. That since of pride on my boys face when he tells his friends that his dad is a fireman, and priviledge to put that uniform on in the morning every third day. Your presentation inspires me and takes me back to that feeling I had on day one. Thanks again.
