does your department use a radio system that utilizers repeaters to assign talk groups/frequencies and to boost signal strength? A point to point frequencies is one that bypasses the repeater and is of limited range but would not have to "hit" the repeater from inside a high rise. Mobile repeaters are units that boost the signal strength of radio signals.

because english is my second language a need more info on point to point communication what is it? And for the repeater in the rig, i need more info or a website i could go to learn more

One suggestion is for crews inside to use point to point frequencies that bypass repeaters - or better yet - use mobile repeaters installled in command rigs.
