Hello All,

I am new to this forum.

I was talking with a captain the other day and was discussing when and where a TIC can be used as our department does not use it to it's full capabilties. In order to better describe what it can be used for, I was looking for a powerpoint presentation that bullard used to have listed on their website. It had lots of information, but could not find it anywhere. I then remembered that I had saved it somewhere in my home directory and I finally found it. Its in 2 parts. I am attaching the first section to this message to see if it works. If it doesn't and you would like a copy, please let me know how to post it on here or I can email it.

Cheers
Craig

Jeff,
I have left a few emails with the Bullard Training guys with no return emails yet.. My Volunteer department just purchased an Eclipse TIC from Bullard. TICs are a great for interior attacks and searches. The small Eclipse is designed to be used by the Hose team. I am hoping to get some information for my class... If I come across anything that might help you I will let you know.

Check out "Fire Instructor Resource Service Curriculum" on-line. I'm sure you will find a nice start to any program.

Hey Brothers:

Just had an extremely good training exercise in the house, impromptu, a few notes from FDTN and our TIC. I was frustrated at finding any good drills, not having the time to really re-invent the wheel. But I should have looked here first. This site always has so much to offer, I should have known better.

Hey Dean,

Thanks for posting up...

Is there a reason the small group prefers the handle? Is it a comfort thing?

If you are not using the transmitter anymore and the handle attaches easily than why not let the crews that want it, use it? And visa versa. If it gets it off the rig more often and in use, then how can it be a bad thing?
