Where firefighters come to talk training
RIDING POSITIONS
We are a volunteer department that runs 3 engines, 1 heavy rescue, and 2 squads from 2 stations.
We are hoping to implement tasks for different seat positions on the apparatus.
If anyone has any suggestions on what their company/department handles this task please chime in.
Our department will have a new slate of officers this January and we are planning to make a few but necessary change(s).

Check out David Polikoff's website "workingfire.net" and go to the "Engine Co." tab. He has a great article on "Duties by Position" and look at the "Truck Co." tab also. I've also found a few articles at "firenuggets.com". Look at these sites and see if they have what you are looking for.
