Where firefighters come to talk training

I need some assistance. Currently, I serve as a Firefighter and Life Safety Officer of my volunteer department. I am working on a Pre-Plan and Target Hazard assessment program. While I have identified many of the Target Hazards, I can not seem to find a form that I like. I am using one from a class I took at NFA, but I would like to find an electronic version that I can "fill in" for each new Target Hazard.

I am also looking for any information from my colleagues who have the businesses in their first due, conduct a "self inspection" and submit that information electronically.

With this information, I can create an electronic database for all the apparatus.

Thanks,

Steve Andrews

Steve. I asked a similar question a while back on this, and got little info. So I sat down and decided to design my own. I did research online, got several prefire plan forms other departments used, as well as some of the more popular fire data management software systems out there. What I have now is an Access database that serves as our main record management program. It is still a work in progress, but it is functional, and usable. If you send me your address, I will burn a copy to disk for you as it is too big to e-mail now. You can look at it and decide if it is something you would like for your department. Anything you would like to see added or taken away, I can do that too. Just let me know.

I tried the same thing at my dept. Ended up having one of our computer nerds write a program with the info I wanted. However we were starting work on a access based program.

Jason, if you want a copy of what I have done to this point you are welcome to a copy. I need a physical address to send it to, as it's too big for e-mail.

Try this one, it seems to have most of it covered:
