Twas the night before Christmas in the Firehouse
All was quiet no one was striing not even the Probie
As i Sat in my office drinking my coffee and doing paperwork
The Crew was all nestled in thier Bunks
then out of no where the pagers and siren went off
The Crew arose from thier Bunks as i ran from my office to my car
I heard a shout from the floor from the Captain , Art, Bobby, Mike. Jeff, Probie grab your gear
As i called responding i asked what do we have , dispacth came back
You have a jolly fat man stuck in a Chimney
As we arrived to my sight there it was a Sleigh pulled by 8 tiny reindeer and there in the Chimney
a Jolly little fat man.
As the engine arrived i heard the captain shout , Ladder the roof , grab the tools , let's rescue this man
so we can go back to sleep.
The crew performed to their best and rescued the little man he sprang from the roof and jumped in the Sleigh and off he went
We did not even get his name for the Report.
As we returned to the station all were tired , we washed the truck, cleaned up and filled out the report
the crew retired to their bunks , i returned to my office to finish the report and out of no where we someone say " God Bless you all and to all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year''
