Where firefighters come to talk training
State Mandated Training Requirements
The SC State Firefighters' Assoc. has developed several Strategic Goals including minimum training requirements for Firefighters and Fire Officers. I agree that some "minimum requirements" may be needed. Even though the Chief of each FD already is responsible for his department. SC is near 85% volunteer and increased training requirements may only lead to fewer firefighters.
